This 90=minute workshop will give you the hands-on training to grow your own oyster mushrooms, Pleurotus ostreatus. Supplies are provided for a $5.00 fee at the class. You will be taught all the basic steps to get started, and then take home your mushroom growing bag. Just imagine, you will be able to enjoy eating your mushrooms in a favorite dish you prepare. The versitile oyster mushroom can be stir-fried, grilled, added to soups, pastas, rice dishes, or enjoyed as a side dish. You also can dry your mushrooms and save for later use. Your friends and family will be amazed!
Oyster mushrooms have a wide range of health benefits, according to mushroom culture experts:
